So...it looks like the last time I posted was in September. Um...I don't really remember what happened during the month of October...
Except for my favorite mother-in-law's birthday!
Oh...and I found out if I drive when I'm not wearing glasses I'm breaking the law.
So forward to November!
First, a short story. A few months ago, Andrew's company had a work party (which we of course did not attend). After the party, Andrew received a phone call from his company informing him that he had won a drawing. The prize? A barbecue! (Like the appliance, not a party.)
Anyways, Andrew brought home his prize from work and... it was not a barbecue at all. It was... a turkey fryer? What in the world are we supposed to do with a turkey fryer? The obvious solution was to take it to RedNeck Central out in G Town and have us a fried turkey to celebrate Thanksgiving. Awww yeah!
Don't ask me how it happened, but Andrew actually managed to get Thanksgiving off! So we got to have a feast at the Rosenbaums, which is always a party. Then, we got to celebrate Andrew's favorite holiday ever: Black Friday.
I know it may be hard to understand, but Black Friday with the Rosenbaums is one of the most fun days of the entire year! We started at 4 am and hit Big 5, Shop Ko, Target, Harbor Freight, JC Penney, Game Stop, Pretzel Maker (seriously), Gap, and finished with breakfast at Amber's.
The two best deals of the day consisted of two zero degree sleeping bags for $30 each and three XBox games for $30. Take a look at our loot!
Now here's a fun fact for you. Andrew and I were born nine days apart in the same hospital. We actually have pictures of us holding hands while in our cribs in the nursery at the hospital. So adorable.

Anyways, we celebrated our birthdays in style this year.
I spent months coordinating the purchase of an XBox 360 with two paddles and Call of Duty all with the help of our parents and brother-in-law. You would not believe how many texts and e-mails I deleted just to keep Andrew in the dark. As you can see, mission accomplished. That's genuine surprise.
Then I had the best birthday ever because Andrew rules.
We went to the "Big City," ate dinner at Rodizio Grill, slept in a covered wagon (WHAT?!), and went shopping at City Creek. It was AWESOME!
I think that's everything!
Oh...and I finished my college education. I'm officially a genius. Someone hire me.
