Yup. We accidentally went to Disneyland again.
And we regret it...NOT! We're addicts!
I blame this lady:
This was her fourth trip to Disneyland in the last 13 months. Plus she has tentative plans to go back in October and to go to Disneyworld in October of 2014. She's crazy! (It doesn't help that she's married to the Silver Fox next to her!)
Andrew and I left as soon as he got home from work and we drove all the way to Primm, Nevada.
We stayed at Whiskey Pete's, where everyone in the casino looked at us like they wished we were dead. It was a very cheerful place.
The next day we drove the rest of the way to California, but that's not important.
The important thing came the following morning when we finally made it to Disneyland!
We went on quite a few rides but it wasn't long until our first snack time (which lead to a full day of bingeing on junk food and loving it.)
My parents also flew in to California that morning, quickly dropped off all their luggage, and came straight to the park just in time to go on Space Mountain with us.
Splash Mountain of course:
Ya Ya & The Babe didn't really want to get wet.
Notice how crazy Ya Ya is in the middle there.
We both learned very important lessons at Disneyland. First, Disneyland is full of Zoobies. People were waving to Andrew and cheering things like, "Gooooo Cougars" and "Cougars rule!" at him ALL day! One guy even shook his hand. Andrew vowed never to wear a BYU shirt to Disneyland again.
And I learned that my sunglasses kind of make me look like a blind person.
Day 2 was spent at California Adventure.
Girrrrl, dem blue pants make yo butt look biiiig.
Screamin California, of which The Babe clearly disdains.
Andrew? Ya Ya?
Midway Mania!
We literally got to go to the front of the line for this one because Grizzly Rapids shut down while we were on it!
And the very best and most terrifying ride: Tower of Terror!
Oh so spooky (unless you're in a Dramamine stupor)!
Oh...and Ash & Scott. You'll just have to imagine them I guess since I don't have any pictures...
Well, that's it. I hope we don't fall off the wagon and accidentally get convinced by Ya Ya to go to Disneyland again really soon. That would be heartbreaking...
