There's Snow Way...

In case you hadn't noticed, it snowed like crazy last night! 

Because we live on a mountain, we had to ditch the car last night at a gas station in the town at the bottom of the hill and have my father-in-law come rescue us in his 4WD truck. (Is 4WD the correct jargon?) We would have made it home without a problem if people realized that stopping on a snowy hill is stupid. Luckily there were good Samaritans out who would block the entire road to ask the stranded vehicles if they were okay. Did they care that their generous inquiries ruined our chances of making it home? Highly unlikely.

Anyways...this is what I found at 6:30 this morning when I was trying to leave for work:

This black part is my car seat.

It's hard to see, but the snow is exactly equal with the bottom of my car. Crazy.

Needless to say, we did not leave the house today. At all. Hence the blogging.

We did get the chance to take a few photos. Too bad the sun still wasn't up as we had just spent a half hour trying to get my car out of the snow so I could go to work...
